PUL to Open Book of Condolence for Fallen Journalist Zoom Dosso
The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has set this Wednesday, January 8, 2025 as the date for the opening of a book of condolence for fallen journalist Zoom Dosso.
The decision of the PUL was taken in consultation with the Dosso family shortly after the burial of the fallen Journalist on Monday, January 6, 2025.
The late bilingual journalist was laid to rest at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Brewerville after traditional funeral rites by the Muslim Community at the 72nd Community – SKD Boulevard Mosque in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.
Dosso, aged 62, met his sudden death on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the ELWA Hospital in Paynesville.
He worked as a journalist for over three decades, disseminating information for national and international media both in French and English on prominent broadcasters, newspapers, and online media.
The burial of the fallen journalist was attended by scores of journalists, media, and communication practitioners, in addition to his family and well-wishers, signifying the significant roles played by Dosso in journalism in Liberia and the world.
The PUL is encouraging all journalists, media and communication practitioners to grace the book of condolence ceremony at 11am on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the PUL Headquarters at Clay Street.
The wife, children, and other family members of journalist Dosso will be in attendance.
