Stop being used by Politicians to serve as conduit to instigate violence!!
When he addressed a press conference in Monrovia sometimes ago, a prominent Liberian environmentalist made a passionate appeal to his fellow compatriots to help in addressing the growing sanitation challenges in the country.
In spite of the nonstop educational programs on sanitation and the need to keep our homes, environment and cities clean, we cannot still understand why some people continue to drop waste in the streets and into drains.
Amid tension amongst political parties, mainly the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) and the former ruling Unity Party (UP) in the ongoing campaign, we again call all political leaders and their supporters to avoid the personal attacks and focus more on the main meat of your messages.
A caution to Liberians, mostly zealous followers and supporters of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) and the Unity Party (UP) to stop electoral violence because it is sending out bad signal outside about Liberia is prudent and in the right direction.
We maintain that the approach by some people to always address their grievances through violent means needs to be totally discouraged, because this way of doing it is not only illegal, but uncivilized and injudicious
