NSF Upgrades Classroom At Law School

The Noble Second Floor has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing legal education and access to justice with the official dedication of a fully refurbished classroom at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law.

The initiative, unveiled during a ceremony attended by faculty, students, and stakeholders, marks a strategic investment in improving the academic environment at the University of Liberia.

As part of the program, the Noble Second Floor also presented janitorial supplies aimed at supporting maintenance efforts and ensuring a clean and conducive learning space for the new academic year.

Delivering remarks at the event, NSF President Josiah Maxwell Monmia described the project as a demonstration of purposeful leadership and collective responsibility.

“Just months ago, RH-1 was a space in urgent need of attention worn and outdated. Today, it stands transformed into a modern, functional, and inspiring learning environment,” Monmia said.

He emphasized that the intervention extends beyond infrastructure, positioning it as a strategic contribution to strengthening legal education and, by extension, justice delivery in Liberia.

The refurbished classroom now features improved seating, enhanced lighting, a refreshed interior, air conditioning, a modern projector, and a student-centered layout designed to facilitate effective teaching and learning.

Monmia noted that the project aligns with NSF’s broader vision of driving measurable impact within the law school and the wider community.

He added that the organization remains committed to action-oriented service, reinforcing the principle that investing in legal education is essential to strengthening democratic governance and the rule of law.

Dean of the law school, Navada Risk, praised the initiative, describing it as timely and transformative for the institution.

“This is a commendable and forward-looking effort,” Risk said, while encouraging the organization to expand its engagement into academic support and long-term institutional development.

She reaffirmed the law school’s openness to partnerships that contribute meaningfully to both infrastructure and academic excellence.

The RH-1 refurbishment adds to a growing list of NSF-led interventions, marking the second classroom the organization has fully modernized at the law school.

Over the years, the group has implemented programs including student mentorship, scholarships for top-performing students, and public legal awareness campaigns.

NSF has also contributed to improving learning facilities and strengthening the academic and social dimensions of legal education.

Beyond the campus, the organization has engaged in outreach initiatives aimed at promoting access to justice and supporting underserved communities.

These efforts include legal awareness campaigns and charitable activities designed to bridge the gap between legal education and societal impact.

Observers say the latest project reinforces NSF’s position as a key partner in advancing the mission of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law.

As the organization expands its footprint, it is calling on alumni, partners, and stakeholders to support efforts aimed at strengthening legal education and justice systems in Liberia.

The Noble Second Floor remains committed to fostering academic excellence and promoting a more accessible and equitable legal framework for all Liberians.
